About Boy Racers

   Posted by: admin   in Uncategorized

Started in early 2007 around a month after the release of TBC, Boy Racers started as a closed guild raid group within the Ravaging Savages guild, running Karazhan. Since those early days BR have expanded and are a Raid Group (not a raid guild). Note that Boy Racers do not require you to leave your current guild, just happens that most of our members are in Ravaging Savages! We had gone on to clear all raid content in TBC (All but 3 bosses in SwP pre 3.0 patch). We even went back to clear all pre-TBC instances in a night of much fun with some firends and guildies!

We value our team, putting time into their raiding, turning up as prepared as possible with all available consumables and an accurate knowledge of boss encounters.

Remaining at a competative level of raiding has not been a substantial issue, even when compared to other raid guilds/forces on Earthen Ring that raid between 4-6 nights a week. We only raid 3 nights a week, so our members are expected to make sure they do their research before attending raid, even if on trial.

We have a history of raiding to a high standard. Taking that with us to WotLK we have managed to clear all pre-3.1 content and 24 of our team completed their Heroic:Glory of the Raider achievement. Since Patch 3.1 we have entered Ulduar on our best form. We went on to get the server 1st Yogg-Saron Easy mode kill, and recently completed the meta achievement for Glory of the Ulduar Raider (25 player) and the Hordes 1st round of Iron Bound Proto-Drakes. Since the release of 3.2 we have completed Call of the Crusade and Call of the Grand Crusade! Now we look forward to the release of Patch 3.3, and Arthas himself.
